A little bit about the job:

You will be supporting the finance department in running daily finance work, such as monthly reporting, preparing payments by verifying documentation, organizing the database and ensuring all the documentation is properly filed. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Execute in handling a full set of accounts (AP, AR, FA and GL) which covers invoicing/debit notes, journal entries, accruals control and verification of supplier invoices.
  • Prepare payments, invoices, payment vouchers and receipts. 
  • Maintain daily bank reconciliation and ensure discrepancies are reported and resolved promptly.
  • Implement effective internal controls and maintain proper accounting records.
  • Update of fixed assets transactions and assets tagging timely.
  • Perform periodic check on receivables and to liaise with the responsible personnel on overdue accounts.
  • Ensure all collection to be promptly deposited and accounted for on a timely manner.
  • Organize, update and manage documentation and database.
  • Assist in business reporting such as preparation of financial reports/data, documents filing.
  • Prepare monthly tax installment payment and yearly tax estimation.
  • Participate and assist in strategic corporate projects and drive transformation initiatives for the department, improving efficiency and maintaining strong internal controls.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks from time to time to support the operations of the company.

What is required:

  • Candidates with Diploma in Accounting & Finance, ACCA or related fields. 
  • Require at least 1-year of working experience in related fields
  • Fresh graduates with extensive internships experience in related fields are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
  • Nice-to-have 
    • Past experience in a high growth startup.
    • Past experience in the property industry as a tenant, landlord, or property agent.
